Pine Cove has a fast-growing resident staff of over 140 full time employees. These staff members work year-round in a wide variety of areas including Food Service, Camp Programming, Registration, Human Resources, Maintenance, Housekeeping, Marketing, Development, Media, Outdoor Education, Accounting, Retail, Information Technology, and more. Primary responsibilities include effectively teaching students concepts from the approved curriculum, planning and preparation of lesson plans, supervising assigned groups with positive behavior management, and effectively administering all the roles required in order to host an outdoor education or teambuilding group. IWS Critter Room Curator
Pine Cove is seeking an energetic Christian individual to provide a dynamic, professional, biblically relevant environmental studies curriculum for private and public educational institutions. The position fills the role of IWS Instructor, Critter Room Curator and Summer Staff during the months of mid-August, September, October, early November, March, April and early May. The Instructor must see this job as a ministry that reflects on the name of Jesus Christ. Consequently, the Instructor must be committed to excellence and integrity in all aspects of the many roles it may require. The primary aim of the Critter Room Curator is to oversee all aspects of the Critter Room. This includes overseeing the maintenance of exhibits, permits, and daily care of animals. The primary aim as a Summer Staff employee during the months of mid May, June, July and early August, will be heavy involvement in a summer staff role at one of the Pine Cove Camps.

Software Developer - "System Admin lead"
Pine Cove is seeking a Software Developer the fill the primary role to be an active member of the agile software development team. This position would also specialize as Pine Cove’s Web Systems Administrator by providing consistency and oversight to all web/development related servers. Additional responsibilities would include installing patches, upgrades, and providing web security.

- 3 to 5 years of professional experience as a software developer with at least two years of experience developing web-based applications. (ColdFusion or PHP experience a plus)
- Have a solid understanding of HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and jQuery
- Have a solid understanding of relational database concepts and ability to write sophisticated SQL queries
- Experience working on an Agile Delivery Team using XP or Scrum
- Some experience with the following technologies/concepts: Adobe ColdFusion, Salesforce.com platform, ActionScript, Adobe Flex, PHP, ASP.NET, Web Services technologies, MVC architecture, SOA, Eclipse, and source control (Subversion, git)
- Experience installing, patching, and administering: Red Hat Enterprise Linux and Windows Server.
- Experience configuring and managing: Apache, JRun, Tomcat, ColdFusion, PHP, and MySQL
- Familiarity with one or more of the following considered a plus: shell scripting, cron, SSH, FTP, postfix, backup software, Linux kernel firewall, Cisco ASA, basic networking (addressing/switching/routing), DNS, SSL and web security techniques and best practices

Part Time Cook (Columbus)
Pine Cove is seeking a ministry minded, hard-working, team player to work in the kitchen as a part time cook in our Columbus location. Responsibilities include preparing and serving meals in a timely manner, food inventory, safety and sanitation, and training weekend staff. Hours will include weekend shifts.
