Pine Cove Christian Camps has begun a new adventure – an adventure of ministering to people outside the borders of Texas and even outside the borders of the United States! This adventure is “Commission Camping.” We are commanded in Matthew 28:19, “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit.” This past summer, two teams of college students traveled to Costa Rica for ten days for the purpose of training church leaders on how to run a summer camp program. Pine Cove will continue to send teams to Costa Rica for 3 summers until the leaders are ready to lead a camp program on their own. Last summer was our first step into international missions, and we are already planning for our next opportunity to expand our camp ministry into multiple countries in Latin America.

To be a part of one of these teams, each team member must be a former summer staffer and also be willing to commit to working one half of the summer in addition to the mission trip. For information on applying for a summer position, please visit the Summer Jobs section of the website.
