For the past 40 years we have been blessed to see incredible
life change at Pine Cove! The growth we have continually experienced
testifies to the fact that campers and families are experiencing
God at Pine Cove. We are honored to be the conduit for that encounter!
Regardless of how fast we have grown, demand has continued to match.
In just the past two years the Ranch Junior High Camp has grown
58% and the Shores High School Camp has grown 32% in the same amount
of time! God continues to amaze us as He moves here at Pine Cove.
Growth typically happens in response to need, and for Pine Cove, we have historically seen the need reflected through the length of our waiting lists. We responded to that need by expanding our size at both the Ranch and the Shores. While we have managed to build ahead of our waiting lists, we are now recognizing an even greater need - the need that today's youth have to be equipped with the Truth. This is no longer about space for those knocking on our door, this is now about being proactive to provide a place where kids can be invested in emotionally and spiritually. Youth today are facing issues that most people would be horrified to realize. Their exposure to unhealthy internet sites, pop culture movies, and other forms of media is early and often in their young lives. It isn’t just that youth are searching for these things, they are being targeted! A prowling lion is seeking to devour. The world has no desire to offer or equip them with Truth. We have to give them a place to experience Truth through the love of Jesus Christ.
Through much prayer and consideration we have determined three
outlets of greatest potential within our influence and are now embarking
on the most ambitious expansion in the history of Pine Cove - Towers,
Timbers, and
Outback. Because
we have been convinced through countless testimonies and seen it
in our own lives that once a person has experienced God their life
will Never Be The Same, it is fully worth our effort to
provide greater opportunity for youth to have an encounter with
the Living God! While the funds necessary for the following projects
may seem large, it is important to remember that we serve a great
God! In and of ourselves, we could never make these expansions a
reality. The great thing about partnering with the Lord is that
we are only jumping on board with His plans!
We are eager to equip youth with the Truth! To empower them to
not only stand up to the world, but also enable them to influence
their generation for Christ! We are diligently praying for and seeking
partners with a passion to see youth equipped with the truth about
