We strongly believe that every family and child should be able to come to camp. Why? Because we have seen first hand thousands of lives changed as they experience God at Pine Cove!

While we do our best to make camp affordable, not every family and child is able to come on their own. This is where we are asking you to partner with us. If you would like to help send a family or child to camp, you can do so by donating to our Scholarship Program. We receive hundreds of letters each year from thankful scholarship recipients. These letters are a testimony to the fact that your contribution to this program really counts for the kingdom! Through our Scholarship Program you can elect to either give a donation to a general scholarship fund, or choose to designate your giving to a specific ministry within Pine Cove.
One such opportunity is the Heights day camp, specifically
designed for kids in 2nd through 6th grades from low-income, inner-city
areas. This summer we have partnered with the Boys & Girls Club
of East Texas and the Salvation Army to bring 75 kids to the Heights
each week for five weeks. Our goal for the Heights is to impact these kids who are from urban
areas with the good news about Jesus. Statistics show that kids
from urban areas are 300% more likely to have a better quality of
life if they have a relationship with God. We want these kids to
come to camp so that their lives would be transformed by Christ
and they would never be the same!
Another opportunity is our Ministry to Military. Pine Cove is passionate about serving those who serve our country. The sacrifice these families make is great, and we want to do our best to encourage and equip them. Our Ministry to Military program has been designed to raise funds so that military families can attend Pine Cove’s camps and conferences free of charge. Many military families come to Pine Cove with no personal relationship with the Lord, yet frequently they leave with the hope of the gospel of Christ.
Since September, we have received over $82,231 in donations for the families of those who serve our country, bringing us to approximately 74% of our goal of $112,000. Already, these funds have enabled 23 families to attend Pine Cove’s weekend New Year Conference for families, 3 families to attend Easter Conference and 7 military widows and their 13 kids to attend a special Mother’s Day weekend retreat we planned just for them. We have seen first hand the impact an experience at Pine Cove has on these families.
Our goal is to give away $100,000 in scholarships and $112,000
through our Ministry to Military program. While this may seem like
a lot, the testimonies of those who have come to Pine Cove as a
result of another’s generosity confirms that these are programs
