Girly Jr High Conference - Girls Only |
Grab your hairbrush, jump in the car and put on your favorite tunes. Get ready for a weekend where boys aren’t allowed! No girl’s weekend is complete without karaoke, pajama parties, fashion shows, and a movie night. For the first time Pine Cove is offering a new conference for middle school girls! It is our passion that girls know and understand who God has created them to be. In a culture that tells us to define ourselves by what we see in the mirror, we want to teach girls how to discern biblical truth from the lies they so often believe. We have an incredible speaker coming who will challenge the young women to live that truth out in such a way as to challenge the culture around them. We are so excited for a weekend that allows us to specifically address the issues this generation of young women faces.

Speaker: Ginger Morby, Student Development Leader (6th-12th Grades), Radiant Church, Surprise, AZ
Texas-born Ginger Morby is a passionate writer, teacher, and speaker who holds a deep desire to reach young women for Christ in an authentic way. She has spent the past three years at Radiant Church in Surprise, Arizona where she currently serves as the Student Development Leader for over 400 6th-12th grade students. She is pleased to be returning to Pine Cove for this conference, as she served at Pine Cove for many years in various capacities including junior high counselor, senior counselor, and director of the girls "Baby Ruth" discipleship program. Her prayer for this weekend is that the young women who attend will not only know who they are in Christ, but that they will live that truth out in such a way as to challenge the culture around them.
