Focus (Sr High #2 - Gr 9-12)

Senior high kids are our passion and not just during the summer. We desire to minister to high school students throughout the year, and this conference is a great opportunity just for that. Youth groups from all over Texas and beyond can bring as many kids as they can fit in a bus (or several buses for that matter!) for a fun-packed, worshipful weekend. We bring in a speaker who can relate to students through a powerful message, and we have energetic and intimate worship provided by the Pine Cove praise team. Our Sr. High Conferences also give youth pastors and volunteers a chance to spend quality time with their kids to build and develop relationships that go far beyond one weekend. The conference serves to draw people into God�s presence as well as support the leaders of each youth ministry - not to mention it is a small taste of Pine Cove's awesome summer camp experience!

Ketric Newell suffered from a learning disability as a child, but a verse in 2 Corinthians 12 changed his life: “My grace is sufficient for you...” Since then, Ketric has spoken plainly about struggling in Christ, encouraging audiences to rely on the truth to set them free. In 2005, he joined Craig Groeschel and LifeChurch.tv, serving as their youth pastor to over 400 students per week. He loves speaking at youth retreats and has a strong passion to minister.
