Richard J. Hornok is the Senior Pastor of Fellowship Bible Church in Texarkana, Texas. He is a graduate of Moody Bible Institute (79), Washington Bible College (80) and Dallas Theological Seminary. Richard holds the degrees of Master of Theology (84) and Doctor of Ministry (93) from Dallas. Richard is currently in his 25th year of ministry at Fellowship and their first Pastor.
Richard comes from a family of pastors. Along with being a second generation Pastor, his four brothers and his brother-in-law all graduated from Dallas Seminary as well, and they serve as pastors throughout the United States.
Richard grew up in Salt Lake City, Utah, where his father was a missionary-church planter. His wife Vicki, grew up in Dallas. Vicki is a graduate of Baylor University. They have been married since May of 1982 and have seven children: Jonathan, who is married to Mariah and lives in Little Rock, AR; Emily, a senior at John Brown University; Caroline, a Freshman at Wheaton College; Grace (10th grade); George (7th grade); Julia (3rd grade); and four-year old Eleanor.
Vicki first came to Pine Cove as a high school student attending a youth retreat. Since then, she has come numerous times attending both Women's Retreats and Family Camp.
Vicki loves being a pastor's wife and the mom of seven kids and a daughter in law, ages 6 to 25. She and Richard serve as a ministry team in the marriage and family classes they teach at Fellowship Bible Church as well as pastoral marriage counseling. Vicki and Richard celebrated 28 years of marriage last year.
Vicki attended Baylor University, and then worked for IBM for several years before starting a family. Now, Vicki owns and operates SentrySoftSolutions, a software company that manages Community Corrections facilities in the State of Texas.
