Sam "Astare" Holm
Sam started working at Pine Cove in high school as kitchen help in 1995, was on summer staff in college, and joined the full time team after graduating from Baylor in 2001. He is currently working on his Master of Divinity at Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary. Sam grew up at a camp where his father has worked with emotionally disturbed teens for 30 years. He married the love of his life, Rebecca on March 25, 2006. Together they desire to be used by God and to know Him more.

Crier Creek Summer Staff

Around here we have a saying that "Our staff is our program." By this we mean that we place a high standard on whom we hire for our summer staff position. The activities at camp are fun, the skits will make you laugh, and the music is loud, but it is the staff that will encourage, invest in, and model Jesus for your child. We interview thousands of college students to hire just a few hundred. Our screening process is intense and long, but worth it! We are committed to making sure your child is cared for physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
