Ways to Give
There are several ways you can give financially to support Pine Cove. All additions and improvements to Pine Cove are only possible by the generosity of those who support this ministry monetarily.
One-time Gift
A one-time gift to any fund of your choice. Your donation empowers us to minister freely knowing that our financial needs are taken care of.
Automatic Monthly Withdrawal
An automatic monthly withdrawal is another way you can show your support of the ministry at Pine Cove. Not only does it allow you to donate without the hassle of remembering or bothering with paperwork, but it provides us with a steady flow of income to allow us to continue to minister freely as well. An automatic monthly withdrawal is established at your discretion and will run for as long as you specify. You can choose to donate to Pine Cove’s general fund, or designate your donation to a specific area. You also have the freedom to change funds at will. We ask that you email us at development@pinecove.com specifying your desire to change funds, and we will make that change within 48 hours. For your records, you will receive a receipt for each withdrawal specifying the date and amount withdrawn from your account. We will also note where your gift was designated.
Gifts of Securities
If you would like to give a gift of securities (stocks, bonds, etc.) we ask that you proceed in the following way: Please have your brokerage firm initiate an electronic transaction with Pine Cove’s firm, Dain Rauscher. Please refer to DTC #0235. Pine Cove’s account number is 30719968. Once transferred, Dain Rauscher will sell the donated gift and send Pine Cove a check for the amount of your donation. Once this check is received, you will receive a confirmation of your donation listing the type of gift and its monetary value. This gift is tax-deductible.
Gifts of Real Estate
If you have land you are interested in donating, we are interested in hearing about it! For a gift of real estate, please follow the steps below:
- Please speak to a tax consultant regarding the tax ramifications of your donation. We want to ensure that this donation would be mutually beneficial before taking active steps in this process.
- Once confirmed with a consultant, please send Pine Cove a detailed description of the property you are donating. Please include location, size, and other imperative descriptors. This description can be emailed to development@pinecove.com or mailed to Pine Cove c/o Development; P.O. Box 9055; Tyler, Texas 75711
- Once received, Pine Cove will contact you to discuss the property and its potential use. When both parties have agreed, a simple transfer of title will transpire. Pine Cove will then provide you with a tax receipt for the third party appraised value of the property.
Gifts of Equipment
Pine Cove is always in need of various types of equipment that are in working condition.
Do you or your company have some of the following items that are no longer being used? Pine Cove can put them to good use (and allow you to lower your taxes)!
- Cars or Trucks
- Ski boats, wave runners, etc.
- Computers and Printers
- Copy or Fax machines
- Horses and Tack
- Farm Equipment
- Golf Carts
- Office Furniture & Supplies
- Stereo & Sound Systems
- Recreational equipment including game tables
