Forge Details
The Forge is an alternative form of spiritual education and growth and we recognize there aren't many other programs out there like ours. Here are some details about each of the major components of the program.
Classes
Students have nine classes they attend together ranging in subjects from theology to life skills. In addition there are also books, movies and other projects that make up the workload of the program.
Teachers
Over the course of the year our students will have the opportunity to meet and learn from over 100 different speakers and teachers.
Trips
Forge students learn on the road just as well as they learn in the classroom. Students get to participate in six major trips during their 8-months at the Forge. In the spring, all Forge students get the amazing opportunity to spend two weeks studying the Bible in Israel.
Student Life
Living in this kind of community is a once-in-a-lifetime experience
Academic Credit
Many colleges have offered our students undergraduate and graduate credit for some of the work done at the Forge. We are currently developing partnerships with more universities and seminaries in hopes to offer more credit options in the future.
Cost
A year at the Forge is cheaper than two semesters of college. A look at our cost breakdown reveals that our students are able to get their money's worth - and more.
