One of the most important aspects to studying the Scriptures and learning how to handle them with accuracy is being able to bridge the gaps between our world and the world of the Biblical authors. What better way to help bridge those gaps than to set foot in the very land those Scriptures were written in and about? Every spring the Forge class will make its way to Israel to walk where Jesus walked and explore the geographical and historical aspects of the Holy Land. It's a once in a lifetime opportunity that will forever change the way you follow Jesus.
We spend 10 days on the ground in Israel exploring the deserts, mountains, valleys, rivers, seas, fortresses, and cities of the Scriptures. The trip includes airfare, transportation, meals, tips, and lodging. It's also a hiking tour of the country. The trip involves hiking 8-10 miles each day.
The cost of the trip is $2500 and can either be included in the entire cost of the program (making the total cost $9500) or paid for separately.
This isn't the only trip we take in the Forge, but it is the most significant. So, if you have questions about this aspect of the program, please contact us at forge@pinecove.com. |
