Required Reading

• The Bible – students will read the entire Bible and memorize one book.

• The Divine Conspiracy by Dallas Willard

• The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis

• Robinson Crusoe by Daniel Defoe*

• Confessions by Saint Augustine*

• Passion and Purity by Elizabeth Elliot [For Women]

• Discovering the Mind of a Woman by Ken Nair [For Men]*

• Life Together by Dietrich Bonhoeffer

• Spiritual Leadership by J. Oswald Sanders

Beyond reading the required texts, students are also required to read one leadership book and one biography of their own choosing. In addition, each student must also select at least 2 elective books to read that must first be approved by the director and then read with at least one other classmate. Students will also be required to read selections from these additional texts:

Devotional Classics edited by Richard Foster and James Smith

Systematic Theology by Wayne Grudem

*These texts come in different editions/translations and it is important that we all have the same text. Please request ISBN numbers before purchasing.
