Last summer, I sent out a Mondays With Mario that included an article from Dr. Tim Kimmel's monthly newsletter. In that newsletter, Dr. Kimmel refers to his book Raising Kids for True Greatness. There was also a talk by Dr. Kimmel on that same topic included in a drive-time CD that was given to all the parents of youth campers last summer. At the end of the year, the book Raising Kids for True Greatness by Dr. Kimmel was sent out to many of the Pine Cove families.
Based on all the positive feedback I received regarding the Mondays With Mario, the CD, and the book, I wanted to let you know about an upcoming opportunity to hear Dr. Kimmel.
On Saturday, May 5, Dr. Kimmel, in conjunction with Family Matters and FamilyLife Ministries, is introducing the "Raising Truly Great Kids" conference in the Dallas, Texas area. The conference will be held at Fellowship Bible North, Plano, from 8am to 3pm, and the cost is $39 per person.
