Larger Than Lions
In late 2006, we gave ourselves a challenge - let's record a kids CD and do it over Christmas break! So we brought together a group of talented musicians and had a two-week recording marathon! Once the CD was mixed, mastered and ready to go, we had accomplished our goal. Kids and parents alike will enjoy this upbeat yet powerful CD. With club favorites to praise and worship songs, Larger than Lions is fun for everyone!
Why the name?
King of the Beasts, Lord of the Jungle, Top of the Food Chain.
The lion has long been recognized as the greatest in the animal kingdom. Small animals fear him, large animals respect him, and even humans are sure to keep their distance. Scripture tells us that Satan is "like a roaring lion, seeking someone to devour." (1 Peter 5:8) But fear not! Our God is larger than lions! Psalm 27:1 says, "The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear?" We need not be afraid, because we serve the one true King and the Lord of lords.
