Your Love Makes Me Sing

In 2002, we recorded our first studio album. Again, we included songs that were favorites at camp that summer, and like the previous CD’s, the song order was similar to Club at Pine Cove. During the recording process, Shane Barnard came to visit Kevin East. Kevin invited Shane to come to the studio and record some vocal tracks. He agreed, and it was a nice addition. At Christmas reunion, we recorded the live crowd singing. With this album, we captured the energy of Club with a little more polish than our previous attempts.

Why the name?

The title is a line from the song Your Love is Amazing which captures the idea behind the CD and its cover art. In Matthew 18:3, Jesus tells us that we must become like little children. Our desire was to encourage those who listen to this CD to sing to God with the heart of a child who loves without concern for what he looks like or what others think. Our joyful singing is the natural response to our understanding of God’s love for us.
