2008 Bluffs Theme Nights

Each weeknight dinner at Family Camp is a celebration! The meal and dress will center around a different theme each night with skits and entertainment, too! A family evening event for all ages will follow. Listed below are brief descriptions of the themes and events.

Sunday – 'R' We There Yet?

We're rolling out the red carpet as you arrive for a week of rejuvenation and reconnection. We'll raise a ruckus as you roll in, register, resolve the rockin' recreation options, recline while relishing a ridiculously good meal, and rest and recreate in our refreshing reservoir. Monday – Elementary My Dear Watson

Watson has gone missing - do you know where he is? Or who took him? Or what happened? Or his current location? Or how to find him? Someone here knows! Whether you come to dinner dressed like Sherlock Holmes, Nancy Drew, or the latest and greatest CIA operative, you'll need your magnifying glasses and best sleuthing gear during this night game as we scan camp for evidence of Watson's whereabouts. Tuesday – Anchors Away

Leave all those weighty worries at the door as you join us for a casual and relaxing dinner in the Summit. While the kids are away with their counselors, we'll eat and go on a sunset boat trip. (more)

Wednesday – Back to the Future

Great Scott!  It's a blast from the past... or present... or future. Regardless of the movie, tonight will not a be a trilogy. Whether it's T-shirt ties... side pony tails... poodle skirts... flapper beads... Members Only jackets... lamé shirts... space suits... dress to reflect your favorite decade, even if it hasn't happened yet! You can count on that timeless classic, the talent show, after dinner. Thursday –While the Kids Are Away, the Parents Will...Eat!

Adults will enjoy an evening together, including a banquet meal and a speaker session. Impact, Wild Woods, Wild Kids, and Cove Kids will be with their counselors tonight. (more)
