Price

All-Inclusive: This price includes all activities, meals and insurance (limitied supplemental policy with $2500 maximum benefit). Camp store money is optional and not included in this price.

Per-Week: The price for one week at Castle Rock is $205. Additional weeks are the same price.

Rock On: Campers will participate in the extended Day Camp experience.  You may pick up your campers from Pine Cove at 5:00 pm or you may sign up for the bus returning to Andy Woods Elementary School at 5:30 pm. Cost is $40.

Bus: Campers are picked up each morning at 8:30 am at Andy Woods Elementary School, located at 809 Clyde Drive in Tyler. Campers will be returned to Andy Woods at 3:30 pm (5:30 pm for Rock On campers).  Proper identification to pick up your child will be provided by Pine Cove. Cost is $20.

$50 Deposit: To register, you must make a $50 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit. The deposit amount is also per week, so two weeks would require a $100 deposit.

October 1 Deadline: A second payment of $75.00 is required on Oct 1st for each session registered, unless you sign-up for a payment plan by Sept 30th. Registrations after this date will be required to pay this second payment (in addition to the deposit) at time of registration.

March 1 Deadline: Full payment is due on March 1, 2010. If you register after March 1, you must pay in full at that time.

Registration

Register: You can register online or by calling 1-877-4PINECOVE (1-877-474-6326). Current campers should log in using their existing accounts to register. If you cannot remember your username, call 877-4PINECOVE for assistance. New campers will create a new account. This account will allow you to complete the remaining steps.

Camp Store Money: Every day campers can visit the Towers camp store to get a snack and some Pine Cove gear. We have t-shirts, hats, gift items, and much more. Log in to your registration account to put money into your camper’s camp store account. An average camp store account is $25-40.

Forms: Beginning January 15, you should log in to your registration account and fill out all of the important forms. This includes the camper profile, covenant/release agreement, and health form. Completed camper forms are due March 1, 2010.

Cabinmate Requests: We offer the option to request that your camper be in the same cabin as a specific friend or up to three friends (for a total group of 4). Beginning March 15, you can submit cabinmate requests online in your registration account. All required forms must be completed before a cabinmate request can be made.

Pre-Register: After June 1, 2009, you can pre-register for the same session next year. This allows current campers to reserve their spot before registration is opened to the public. If you want to come to a different session next year, we recommend that you pre-register for your current session and switch later. To pre-register, you must pay the non-refundable, non-transferable deposit of $50. Log in to your registration account to pre-register. Pre-Registration must be completed by August 19, 2009.

Switch Session: Beginning August 24, 2009 current campers who have pre-registered are given an opportunity to switch to a different session before open registration for new campers begins. Log in to your registration account to switch sessions.

Cancellation Policy: Youth campers who cancel by April 30th, 2010 at 6:00 PM will be refunded all but the $175 non-refundable/non-transferable deposit. If cancellations occur after April 30, 2010, partial refunds will not be given unless we are able to fill the space from the waiting list.

What to Bring:

What not to Bring:

Bus Information

Price: There is a $20 fee for the Castle Rock bus.

Pick-Up and Drop-Off Information: We pick up each morning at 8:30am at Andy Woods Elementary School, located at 809 Clyde Drive in Tyler. Parents have the option of having their child dropped off at 3:30pm or 5:30pm. Proper identification to pick up your child will be provided by Pine Cove.

Emergency Bus Procedures: In the event of an emergency, the bus driver will call 911 and Pine Cove immediately and move the children to an area that is secure. If the children were headed home, a Pine Cove representative will meet parents at Andy Woods and inform them of the situation.

Drop off at Towers: Campers may be dropped off each day at the Towers camp at 9:00 AM. You may pick your camper up at the same location every afternoon at 3:00 PM.

Closing Day

Closing Ceremonies: Castle Rock closing celebration will be at 2:30pm. The celebration involves singing, camper awards, and a brief message from the Camp Director. Parent’s are encouraged to attend this special event. If you are unable to attend the closing ceremony on Friday, and your camper is riding the bus, please note that the bus schedule may be delayed due to the closing ceremony.

Pre-Registration: Our friendly staff will be available before and after each closing celebration if you would like to reserve your spot for next year by pre-registering. Otherwise, you can pre-register online when you get home. Pre-Registration must be completed by August 19, 2009.

Camp Store: The Towers Camp Store will be open after Closing Celebration.

Parental Pickup: To ensure your child’s safety, only the camper’s parent/guardian may pick him/her up at the end of camp or for an early departure. If you desire a friend or relative to give your child a ride, Pine Cove must receive (by mail or fax) a letter—signed by the camper’s parent/guardian—stating the name of the adult who is authorized to pick up the child and when the child should be released into his/her care.

Waiting list: If there is no space available for the camp session you request, you may be placed on a waiting list for that session at no charge. We register hundreds of campers off the waiting lists each year, so don’t lose heart. The waiting list is limited to two camp sessions. When a space is available, we will call you and leave a message, and we will send you an e-mail (if we have your e-mail address.) You will be given two business days to contact the registration department or go online to register. If we do not receive a response, your camper will be deleted from our waiting list. Campers may not substitute another camper for their spot on the waiting list. During the summer (June through August), because it is a last-minute registration, we will not leave messages. Therefore, it is very important that you give us home, work, and mobile phone numbers and an e-mail address.
