Is Pine Cove affiliated with a specific church? |
No. Pine Cove is a non-denominational camp run by a board of directors.
Our board members and staff have many different denominational backgrounds.
Our desire is to focus on what unites us and not what divides us. |
What does Pine Cove believe? |
Pine Cove’s Statement of Faith is posted in the About Us section. Check it out. |
Is Pine Cove going to take good care of my child? |
Yes! We understand the great responsibility parents entrust to us and we
work very hard to make camp a safe place. Our counselors are screened
through lengthy interviews, background checks, and references. Pine Cove
has one of the lowest camper:counselor ratios out there so that our staff
can easily supervise and get to know all of our campers. We also spend
almost 2 weeks before summer thoroughly training our staff in efforts to
ensure that each camper has the best and safest week of camp possible. |
What grades will attend Outback in 2008? |
Outback will be for students entering 3rd-7th grade in the Fall of 2008. |
Do younger kids room with the older kids? |
No. We have designated cabins for each grade level. The only exception may be that a child one grade up is invited to room with a friend that is one
grade lower. |
Can my child stay in the same cabin as his friends? |
You bet! We allow up to four campers to put in a request to room together. |
Will Outback be similar to the Towers and Ranch in Tyler? |
Yes. It will be very similar in activities and quality of counselors. The
difference will mostly be in the feel of the property, topic of Bible study,
and types of theme nights. |
Is Pine Cove a non-profit camp? |

Are scholarships available? |
