Matt "Hat Trick" Murphy
Matt began working at Pine Cove in 2002, serving as part of a discipleship program called Young Guns. For the next 3 summers, he returned to work on summer staff in various roles at the Shores camp. Matt met his beautiful wife, Katie, while on summer staff and they are now blessed with a beautiful daughter, Lily. In 2008, Matt joined the Pine Cove staff full time, serving as a Conference Director at the Towers camp for fouryears before transitioning to his role at the Ranch as Camp Director. Matt is originally from East Texas, but has spent a lot of time in Nashville, Tennessee where he attended college at Belmont University. He is passionate about teaching and leading others into a better understanding of God’s Word and who they are in Christ.

Ranch Summer Staff

Around here we have a saying that "Our staff is our program." By this we mean that we place a high standard on whom we hire for our summer staff position. The activities at camp are fun, the skits will make you laugh, and the music is loud, but it is the staff that will encourage, invest in, and model Jesus for your child. We interview thousands of college students to hire just a few hundred. Our screening process is intense and long, but worth it! We are committed to making sure your child is cared for physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
