Ranch Winterfest '09 [Dec. 18th - 20th]
So here’s a quick peek into Ranch Winterfest ‘09. We’re talking fast action from the moment you set foot on property. Once you meet your counselor and cabinmates you’ll take part in the annual gingerbread cabin design competition where we judge on one thing and one thing only….”how far will it fly?” That’s right, Saturday morning we’ll be tossing the house off of the zip tower to determine the winner of this category.
Friday night we will also be opening up “The Field of Inflatables” so get ready for a night under the stars that will be sure to rival any night you’ve ever had at camp. So prepare to be pumped!
There will also be three club sessions that will give you the opportunity to come before the Lord in worship. After the music, the ranch staff will share with you from the Word in hopes of challenging and encouraging you in your walk with the Lord.
During the meals your favorite skit characters will make their presence felt with a skit that will lead to great laughs that will keep you jolly throughout the holiday season.
In the afternoon many of your favorite activities will be available to enjoy such as Skate Park, pickle ball, disc golf, canoes, climbing wall, zip line, horses, medieval times and even a little random fun! During this time your counselors will also be there to connect with you to find out what’s been going on in your life and to spur you on as you continue to deny self.
Saturday evening, we’ll be playing everyone’s favorite ranch game: Commando! That’s right, commando boss Jiggs will be decked out in festive attire and ready to bust any camper that attempts to enter the Commando forest. It will be a wintry battle for the ages.
So come celebrate the end of the fall semester with all your friends here at Pine Cove, and don’t hesitate to bring your own friends along to the party, especially if they’ve never experienced Pine Cove before!
