Facilities
At the Shores, we are blessed with incredible facilities. We have everything from a huge gym, to great cabins to an amazing dining hall. We even have fun things like a game room, a pool and an awesome field at camp! All of our buildings have AC, so they are a great place to cool down during the hot summer days.
The Huma
The Huma is our gym. This is where we play most of our indoor games like basketball, hockey and even the famous WARBALL!! The Huma is also where we gather each night for club and even for closing celebration on Saturday mornings.
Cabins
There are 4 guy cabin clusters and 5 girl cabin clusters at the Shores. Each cabin cluster has four cabins in it. Each cabin has 8 bunks and a full bathroom. There is also plenty of AC to keep you cool in the summer heat.
Ruma Kai
The Ruma Kai is our dining hall. This is where we eat all of our meals every day. Every night for dinner, the Ruma Kai also transforms into whatever theme night we are having that night.
Kavaratti
Ping Pong? Check. Pool? Check. Air Hockey? Check, Check. Our Kavaratti is the Shores official game room. It is open during free time everyday at camp and is a great place to hang out and play games with friends.
Big Blue
Big Blue is the Shores Pool. It gets hot out here in the summer and it is always great to cool off in our shallow end playing water polo, or flying off the trapeze into the deep end. We also have diving boards and even a giant Blob.
The Field
At the Shores, we love to play all sorts of games (ultimate frisbee, flag football, etc)on our field that is right in the middle of camp. The grass is green and we can feel the wind on our face as we face the challenge of the day on the Shores Field.
Dock
Sitting out on the water is the Shores double-decker dock. Campers use the dock to get to the boats and the battle barge. It is also a great place to catch some shade and enjoy the lake, or get a great view from the lake of the beautiful Shores camp.
