  Andrew "Bunga" Bacon
Andrew joined the Pine Cove Staff full time in January of 2006, having spent 4 summers at the Shores in various positions from Counselor to Program Director as well as a few summers with Kanakuk Kamps in both Missouri and Colorado. Andrew also met his wife Brooke while working at Pine Cove. He is a graduate of Texas A&M University with a degree in Recreation, Park and Tourism Sciences. Andrew came to know Jesus Christ as his personal Savior at a young age and considers it a blessing to serve God and others through his ministry at Pine Cove.

Around here we have a saying that "Our staff is our program." By this we
mean that we place a high standard on whom we hire for our summer staff
position. The activities at camp are fun, the skits will make you laugh,
and the music is loud, but it is the staff that will encourage, invest in,
and model Jesus for your child. We interview thousands of college students
to hire just a few hundred. Our screening process is intense and long, but
worth it! We are committed to making sure your child is cared for
physically, emotionally, and spiritually. |
