Silverado Winterfest '12 [Dec. 14th - 16th]
Breakout the Bobsleds, track down that toboggan, scare up some snow-shoes and put on that parka because WINTERFEST at Pine Cove Silverado is right around the corner. That’s right, it’s camp in the Winter. But this is Texas, so really shorts and t-shirts may be all you need… even in December!
Winterfest is Pine Cove's winter camp experience. Silverado will be putting on a Winterfest weekend camp packed with fun activities, Bible studies, great counselors, all-camp games and, of course, club (worship + speaker time). The camp will be decorated up for Christmas and who knows, it might even snow… OK, maybe not ☺
If you're new to Pine Cove, Winterfest is a great way to get a taste of summer camp fun. It's also a great time for returning campers to reunite with old friends and counselors. Whether you're coming back or coming for the first time, Winterfest promises to be a weekend crammed full of fun, music, holiday festivity, and spiritual growth. To sign up for Winterfest, register online or call 877-474-6326.
On December 14 – 16, 2012, Pine Cove Silverado will be undergoing a frost filled flip-floping, transformation into a Wild and Wacky Winter Wonderland. What may look to outsiders as mere Inflatable Bounce Houses, Obstacle Courses, and Slides are in reality Inflatable Igloos, treacherous terrain parks and snow covered slopes (ok, maybe that’s our imagination ☺) But one thing is certain, it will be a weekend filled with frozen, frosty, fun and excitement. We are even going to be playing a winterized version of Silverado’s brand new capture the flag style game called Stealth Patrol!
But it doesn’t end there. We will have a worship band to lead us in some amazing worship times and we will be digging into the Word. As camp will be filled with piles and piles of snow, we will learn from the words of the Lord from Isaiah who tells us that “though our sins are like scarlet, they will be white as snow.” (Isaiah 1:18)
So bundle up and buckle up, cause it’s going to be a weekend that you will NOT want to miss. Invite a friend and get signed up today!
