 Robby "Pappy" Mayne
Robby came to Pine Cove first as a counselor at the Shores camp in 2000, then joined the full-time staff in November 2001. He served at the Shores camp for four years doing Guest Relations, and then became the Conference Director of the Towers in February 2006. In August of 2007 he was selected to lead the Towers as Director. Robby is originally from south Louisiana, but spent much of his life in Dallas, Texas. He attended Louisiana State University, where he graduated in May 2001 with a major in Marketing, a minor in Speech Communication and a deep love for LSU athletics. He has a real desire to shepherd those around him and to lead them to a deeper understanding of themselves in Christ.

Around here we have a saying that "Our staff is our program." By this we
mean that we place a high standard on whom we hire for our summer staff
position. The activities at camp are fun, the skits will make you laugh,
and the music is loud, but it is the staff that will encourage, invest in,
and model Jesus for your child. We interview thousands of college students
to hire just a few hundred. Our screening process is intense and long, but
worth it! We are committed to making sure your child is cared for
physically, emotionally, and spiritually. |
