Introducing Cedar Ridge!

This summer the Woods Camp will unveil its newest cabin cluster, Cedar Ridge! After months of surveying our camper families, we considered all suggestions and constructive ideas of ways that we can improve the Woods Camp. We are excited to show you these brand new cabins and hope you will consider being our first campers in them this summer. Let us take you on a quick tour!

Porches & Entryway

The new Cedar Ridge has not one, but two big porches. The first thing you will notice is the expansive front covered porch with comfortable rockers that invite you to sit and engage in conversation or rock in the early morning light as you enjoy the peaceful, serene East Texas woods. The beautifully hand crafted 8 foot cedar front door will welcome you to Cedar Ridge, and beckon you to come inside. And if the rocking chairs on the front porch are taken, you can grab one of the ones on the 60 foot-wide back porch.

The Rooms

We have thought of everything with these rooms. From the downstairs to the upstairs, these cabins have been intentionally designed! Each building consists of four separate cabins that are big enough to sleep up to seven people comfortably, and feature two and a half bathrooms.

Downstairs:

• Beautiful queen bed complete with a hide-away bed that slides in and out from underneath the queen
• Double bathroom complete with a shower tub, a dedicated shower, two toilets, and a two sink vanity
• Comfy couch for relaxing and those afternoon naps
• Mud-room for storing shoes, luggage, and hanging up all those wet towels from the pool and lake

Upstairs:

• Kid-friendly bunk room complete with 4 bunk beds
• Half-bath with a toilet and sink

The Hang-Out Room

The back of the building features an expansive room we are calling The Hang-Out Room. With 12 large windows, there are breathtaking views of the newly expanded lake and the beautiful surrounding woods. You almost feel like you are sitting outside. You will be excited to know that the Hang-Out Room provides a washer and dryer, an ice maker, a full-size refrigerator, a microwave, a Keurig coffee maker (for all you coffee and tea drinkers), two water fountains, and an extra bathroom.

Yes, for all of you families who have younger children who turn in around 8:00pm, you can put the little ones down, turn your monitor on, and remain in the same building while sitting in this great room to read, play games at the large farm table, or snuggle on the cozy couches with your spouse for a great conversation.
