2008 Woods Theme Nights

Each weeknight dinner at the Woods is a celebration! Come ready to dress up on the theme nights and make lasting memories (and pictures) of your fun time together as a family.

Sunday – Camp My Car

Arrive at camp in style… window paint, streamers, balloons, signs.  Show off your creativity and family spirit because our judges will be ready for you.  We’ll kick off the week right with Family Club, introductions, and, of course, bragging rights all week for the most “camped-out” car. (more)

Monday – Barn Yard Boogie

Come in your best cowboy and cowgirl duds or perhaps dressed as your favorite barnyard animal. Don’t forget your dancin’ boots as we head to the rodeo.  We’ll stir up the dust as we play rodeo games, square dance, and have a kick-in-the-pants good time! (more)

Tuesday – Black and White Done Right (Adult Banquet Night)

It’s so sweet we are bringing it back again this year.  There will be dinner, dancing, and digging into the Word with our speaker.
 
Wild Kids and Wild Woods – Chief Running Nose will lead you to the BUFFALO HUNT! Bring some clothes you don’t mind getting messy in.

Impact is doing a guys campout and girls slumber party – bring your sleeping bag, and get ready for a memorable night! (more)

Wednesday – Whose Skit is it Anyway?

Is it my skit, your skit, our skit?  We’ll find out! Dress like your favorite skit character, or make up your own!  Remember, all a good skit character really needs is silly clothes, a few odd quirks, and a line or two that others can’t help but mimic.  We’ll warm up with some improv comedy games, and then we’ll put your talents on display at the family talent show.  We’ll end the evening with a sweet time of family worship. Thursday – Genderally Speaking

Absence makes the heart grow fonder, so get ready for some intentional time – just the guys… just the girls.  The ladies eat chick food, and the men grill raw meat.  Women, get ready to bond and men, we are going to teach you the secret of being likeable all the time. (more)

Friday – 2008 Space Odyssey

Shoot for the stars on this night! The sky’s the limit as you dress as an astronaut, alien, space cowboy, (Honda) Odyssey, planet, constellation… Our Friday night party is out of this world with a family picnic, carnival, and Impact dance! (more)
