Youth Camp Philosophy |
|
 |
| |
All of our youth camps have the same basic mission:
impact kids with the life-changing knowledge of Jesus Christ so that
they might come to know Him for the first time or further develop
the relationship they already have. Each camp has a specific part
to play in that mission. However, whether you are working with a
child in second grade or a teenager in twelfth grade, the end goal
is the same.
Each of our youth camps provides specific programs and activities
that are age-appropriate for their campers. Activities such as
ropes, water skiing, wakeboarding, tubing, horseback riding, mountain
biking, waterslide, and sports clinics are a few of the events
that most of our youth camps offer. Read on to see where you might
fit best among our youth camps. |

Heights (Inner-City) |
| |
Last year Pine Cove embarked on a new journey: impacting inner-city
youth with the love of Christ through a camping environment. Because
of the amazing life change we witnessed, we can’t help but
do it again. By bringing in kids ages 7-12 during the day to the
Towers camp and then working with them in their neighborhoods,
the urban areas of Tyler will never be the same. Come be a part
of this new camping experience that has proven to be an incredible
ministry opportunity. (more) |

Family Camp Philosophy |
|
 |
| |
Family camps at Pine Cove are focused on one thing: life transformation.
With dynamic, age appropriate programs, the Lord works through
us to change adults, high school and junior high school students,
children and infants for His glory. Our desire is to provide intentional
time for families to be together and time for children and youth
to be with counselors in order to facilitate growth in their relationships
with the Lord and each other. Counselors lead activities and Bible
studies with the kids and are involved in worship and devotional
times with the families. It is exciting to watch as God heals relationships
between spouses, teaches fathers to be spiritual leaders, grows
children in their knowledge of Him, and brings unbelievers to a
saving faith in Jesus Christ.
Each of our family camps provides specific programs and activities
for their campers. Activities such as ropes, water skiing, wakeboarding,
tubing, horseback riding, mountain biking, waterslide, and sports
clinics are a few of the events that most of our family camps offer. |
