Labor Day Family
The Labor Day Conference is time for the whole family to get away from the busyness of the city and enjoy fun in a camping environment. This is a laid back time with programs in the morning for the kids while adult sessions are led by our speaker. Each afternoon there is free time to sleep or play followed by family activities that night. The conference is full of crazy camp fun such as ropes course, horses, camp fires, the pool, and much more.

About Dr. Glynn Stone
Glynn is the Senior Pastor of Mobberly Baptist Church in Longview, Texas. Since coming in July 2007, there has been tremendous growth for God's kingdom through salvations and baptisms. Currently Mobberly has 5 morning services averaging 2,300 in worship. With a strong missional emphasis Mobberly has planted churches in Anchorage, Alaska; Spearfish, S.D., Preston, England (and soon in San Francisco, California) as well as sent out over 300 people yearly on mission efforts around the globe and 100 people weekly in local mission efforts.
Glynn has taught classes at Southwestern Seminary, Dallas Baptist University, and Shorter College. He has served as a trustee for the International Mission Board, the Advisory Council for LeTourneau University, and Christ to the World Ministry Advisory Board. He has enjoyed the opportunity to speak at chapel services at Southwestern Seminary, East Texas Baptist University, and LeTourneau University. Glynn had the privilege of being a contributing writer in The Pathway to Discipleship, a yearly devotional and prayer journal and is in the process of authoring his first book.
Inheriting a strong adherence to Biblical authority and application from godly parents in vocational ministry, Glynn accepted Christ as his personal Savior as a young child. He responded to God's call to pastor at the age of 16.
Glynn graduated with honors from Bryan College in Dayton, TN with training in Biblical Studies, Counseling Psychology, Business Management, and Greek. He completed his Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary in Fort Worth, TX and completed his Ph.D. in Evangelism from Southwestern in 2005.
Glynn and his wife Angie, a Texas native and Baylor University graduate, married in 1999. They have three boys: Trey, 10 years old, Luke, 7 years old, and Colt, 4 years old. As a family they enjoy spending time together in outdoor sports and camping.
