Conferences: Senior High

Sr High (Grades 9-12)

Senior high kids are our passion and not just during the summer. We desire to minister to high school students throughout the year, and this conference is a great opportunity just for that. Youth groups from all over Texas and beyond can bring as many kids as they can fit in a bus (or several buses for that matter!) for a fun-packed, worshipful weekend. We bring in a speaker who can relate to students through a powerful message, and we have energetic and intimate worship. Our Senior High Conferences also give youth pastors and volunteers a chance to spend quality time with their kids to build and develop relationships that go far beyond one weekend. The conference serves to draw people into God's presence as well as support the leaders of each youth ministry, not to mention it is a small taste of Pine Cove's awesome summer camp experience!

About Garrett Raburn

I grew up a baseball-loving east Texan before moving to the Fort Worth area during high school. I then attended four different colleges (ouch) before finishing at the best of them all, Texas A&M University. Once the winding road of undergraduate work had been completed, I moved to Dallas and studied for two years at Dallas Theological Seminary.

As a senior in college I realized that nothing had the power to motivate me like helping other people connect to Christ. Add to that a conviction that the local church is the hope of the world, and I had my "calling" to ministry. I was blessed to begin at Watermark through the Residency program where I served with young adults, as I now continue to do in Fort Worth.

I love baseball, reading, and convincing folks that the city of Fort Worth is the best in the metroplex!
