Coleman was born and raised in Dallas, Texas, and started coming to Pine Cove with his family at the Woods when he was two years old. Coleman served on staff for four summers as a counselor and senior counselor at the Woods and Camp in the City. In 2013 he graduated with a degree in General Business from Oklahoma State University. After graduating, he was a high school youth pastor in Dallas at Highland Park United Methodist Church. Coleman was hired full-time at Pine Cove in the spring of 2015 as the Associate Director of the Bluffs and is pumped to be back at family camp. Coleman met his wife, McKenzie or (Lil' McThugget), at the woods in 2011, and they have been married since December of 2014. Coleman and McKenzie are passionate about community, discipleship, and sharing Christ's love with those around them. They love hanging out with friends, going on walks, ice cream, laughing, and playing games.

Around here we have a saying that "Our staff is our program." By this we mean that we place a high standard on whom we hire for our summer staff position. The activities at camp are fun, the skits will make you laugh, and the music is loud, but it is the staff that will encourage, invest in, and model Jesus for your child. We interview thousands of college students to hire just a few hundred. Our screening process is intense and long, but worth it! We are committed to making sure your child is cared for physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
