Full Time Staff

Joe “Quatro” Dalton

Joe Dalton grew up as a camper and summer staffer at Pine Cove and it was here that he developed a passion for the ministry of Christian camping. Joe graduated from Texas A&M University with a degree in Recreation, Park and Tourism Science and was a part of the vanguard class Pine Cove Forge in 2006. Soon after, he married his beautiful wife Emily and together they have lived for brief periods in Tyler, Texas; Auckland, New Zealand; Lake Tahoe, Nevada; and now happily reside in Columbus, Texas with their four children, Nate, Chloe, Hudson and Briana. Joe believes that God will powerfully use experiences at Pine Cove to transform lives. He is excited to see campers and staff alike grow in their journey of faith in Christ through their time at Silverado.

Ashley “Eat It” Irvin
Women's Director

Ashley serves as the Women's Director at Pine Cove Silverado. Born and raised in the land of magnolias and hospitality, she graduated from the University of Mississippi with a BFA in photography. She spent her college summers serving on summer staff at Pine Cove Outback and later joined resident staff with Silverado in the Spring of 2014. Ashley is passionate about supporting others in pursuit of a deeper understanding of God's abundant, undeserved grace and leading them in following Him by faith and obedience.

Silverado Summer Staff

Around here we have a saying that "Our staff is our program." By this we mean that we place a high standard on whom we hire for our summer staff positions. The activities at camp are fun, the skits will make you laugh, and the music is loud, but it is the staff that will encourage, invest in, and model Jesus for your child. We interview thousands of college students to hire just a few hundred. Our screening process is intense and long, but worth it! We are committed to making sure your child is cared for physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
