Annelise "Smilin'" Morrison graduated from the University of Alabama with a degree in Elementary Education. She served on summer staff at Silverado for three years before joining the full-time team in 2019. Annelise has held the roles of Women's Director and Associate Director, and in 2023 she took on a new one: Silverado Camp Director!
After serving four summers on staff at Silverado, Kylie "Bonsho" Witcher, joined the full-time team as Women's Director. Originally from Cullman, Alabama, Kylie graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Elementary Education.
Marc “Captain” Wood joined Pine Cove full-time staff in 2023 as the Silverado Men’s Director after serving three summers on summer staff. Marc graduated from Texas A&M with a degree in Business Management. He and his wife, Rachel, met at Texas A&M and married in 2022. They now have two daughters: Reese and Charlotte (AKA 'Charlie').
AJ “Swaggy G” Ward graduated from Auburn University with a degree in Exercise Science. He served on summer staff for four summers at Silverado and completed Pine Cove's leadership program, the Forge. He is originally from Norman, Oklahoma and joined the full-time team at Silverado in 2025 as the Men’s Director.

Seven signs that your child would thrive at summer camp
Looking for an excuse for your child to have some time away from phones, tablets, and other distractions? Pine Cove is a “phone-free” camp—including our staff! So instead of being locked into screens, they’ll be able to focus on building connections with new friends, learning about the truth of the Gospel, and being mentored by our Jesus-loving college staffers. Such a great—and tough—question! As you know, kids grow and mature at different rates, hitting various milestones at different times. With that in mind, we put together a guide to help you navigate this question! We don’t have an online schedule for you to see, as different camps (and even different days) have a tendency to vary a bit. But here’s an idea of the flow of a typical day at youth camp: Flag and quiet time before breakfast, followed by Bible study and a few activities. Then it’s time for lunch, FOB (rest time), and more activities! After some free time, it’s dinner, that evening’s theme night, a snack, Club, and then bedtime. We make sure campers get about 7-8 hours of sleep each night so they’re ready for another full day of camp in the morning!
