The President and CEO will have overall management accountability throughout the organization but will confer with the Board for approval of long-term strategy, program design, and major financial decisions. The CEO is the primary vision-caster and shepherd for the ministry, and looks 18 months out and into the organization. The CEO focuses on today, next month, and five years into the future.
Matt "Cha-hua-hua" Edwards Chief Operating Officer
The Chief Operating Officer (COO) is responsible for leading and managing all hands-on operational aspects of the ministry. Guided by the Objectives of the ministry, the COO empowers the CEO by providing leadership, management, and vision necessary to ensure that the ministry has the proper operational controls, administrative and reporting procedures, and people systems in place to effectively guide the organization and to ensure financial strength and operating efficiency. COO is responsible for the entire organization related to policies, practices, and the attainment of operating goals.
Craig "Dutch" Langemeier Chief Ministry Officer
The job of the Chief Ministry Officer (CMO) is essentially the keeper of the Pine Cove ministry culture (The DNA) at the primary point of relational contact with all campers, covering all ministry venues. Some will be direct line reporting and others will be designated through a dotted line coming from each different region. The CMO serves as a “sage” in having the authority to ensure all ministry outcomes are achieved, yet is without the direct responsibility of daily oversight which falls to the Executive Directors in each of the three Pine Cove regions. The CMO will be accountable for encouraging the development of and monitoring all new programs for families, adults, youth, and children that are culturally relevant, biblically accurate and effective as measured by appropriate sources; Qualtrics, focus groups, camper evaluations, staff evaluations and board affirmation. The CMO is responsible for the entire recruiting process for summer staff; “Who we hire, how we train them, and what we expect of them”. The CMO will also have direct responsibility for the Media team and their functions.

The job of the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) is to provide leadership, vision, safety, security and contingency plans for the overall financial viability of Pine Cove according to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles and governmental regulations.
Phil "High Roller" Baker Chief Advancement Officer
The position of Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) is to oversee the Development department and all fund development efforts across the organization. The CAO assures that the organization's culture, systems and procedures support fund development and vice versa. The CAO is a member of the Leadership Council and supports the team to plan organizational goals and budgets, drive donor relation strategies, and coach leaders in fund development efforts. This position translates organizational objectives into actionable plans by strategizing, coordinating, evaluating and overseeing implementation for fund development, including capital, operational and scholarship fundraising. The CAO is responsible to ensure high integrity, compliance and accountability for fundraising efforts.
Jason "Payless" Wallace Senior Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships
The job of the Senior Director of Marketing and Strategic Partnerships (SDMSP) is to provide strategic oversight for the following programs: Marketing, Camp in the City, the Forge, IWS, Global Ministries, Registration and Retail. The SDSP will be accountable for the creation and development of new programs for youth and children that are culturally relevant and effective. The position is also responsible to stimulate individual and group attendance for Summer Camp, Pine Cove-sponsored Conferences, rental groups and retreats by presenting Pine Cove to the public in a positive manner, and by discovering new markets. This position will manage Pine Cove’s brand. In addition, this person will help coordinate public relations, product branding, and publication activities. This person is responsible for overseeing all general materials that will be presented to the public to ensure a consistency in tone and presentation.
Jared "Shock n Awww" Schuler Executive Director Columbus
The job of the Executive Director — Columbus (EDC) is to cast a vision for Columbus- based camps in conjunction with Pine Cove's ministry. This job also must ensure the safe and efficient use of the Camp in regards to the ministries of summer camping, Pine Cove sponsored weekend conferences and retreat groups. This job will involve direct supervision of the Camp Directors, IWS Director, Retreats Manager, and Crier Creek. This position will actively engage the CEO regarding program plans and outcomes for input, guidance and support. The EDC will be the primary fundraiser for the Columbus properties. The EDC will actively support the Camp in the City ministry and summer staff recruiting in the Columbus Region.

The job of the Executive Director — Southeast (EDSE) is to cast a vision for Southeast-based camps in conjunction with Pine Cove's ministry. This job also must ensure the safe and efficient use of the Camp in regards to the ministries of summer camping, Pine Cove sponsored weekend conferences and retreat groups. This job will involve direct supervision of the Camp Director and operations personnel. This position will actively engage the CEO regarding program plans and outcomes for input, guidance and support. The EDSE will be the primary fundraiser for the SE properties. This role will actively support the Camp in the City ministry and summer staff recruiting in the SE Region.
Chris "Broflex" Boddy Executive Director Tyler
The job of the Executive Director—Tyler (EDT) is to ensure the safe, effective and efficient use of the Tyler property in regards to the ministries, programs and facili- ties of camp, through apt leadership, vision and action. It is the job of the EDT to oversee the Tyler Camp Directors to generate new initiatives to improve the minis- tries of Pine Cove Christian Camps. This includes individually championing the development and implementation of such initiatives for the whole of Pine Cove. It is also the job of the EDT to recruit, hire, train and lead top quality college stu- dents to implement the programs and ministries The EDT is responsible to direct the ministry and operations of Pine Cove’s Tyler location through managing the Camp Directors in Tyler, and the Associate Director Woods. The EDT also has a dotted line manager relationship with the Director of Operations – Tyler, Retreats Director – Tyler, and the Camp in the City Regional Director – Tyler.
Cody "Fozzy" Wilhite Senior Director of Process Innovation and Communication
The primary role of the Senior Director of Process Innovation and Communication (SDPIC) position is to strategically come alongside Pine Cove departments by evaluating processes and procedures and deem where it is necessary to innovate, resulting in increased productivity, profitability and/or ministry outcome. This position oversees the Software Development department. This position will also be responsible for timing of communication to our constituents with a primary focus on being the 'Customer Advocate' by proactively shaping relationships through intentional engagement. This will be accomplished by coordinating a systemized, global relationship strategy: collecting useful data, prioritizing and standardizing cross-department constituent communication efforts, disseminating the data to the appropriate ministry voice, and finally by measuring outcomes. Ensuring accurate and timely data is also the responsibility of this position.
Bea "Ichi Mini Hoi" Rosenhauch Human Resources Manager
The Human Resources Manager (HRM) strategizes and oversees all human resources programs to drive success at the intersection of employee engagement and organizational objectives. This position directs HR strategy and systems and provides guidance on best practices and legal guidelines. Specific areas of responsibility include recruiting, training and development, performance management, benefits, compensation, analytics, employee engagement, compliance, organizational development, environmental scanning and other HR management functions. The HRM leads the Staff Event Team to engage employees throughout the calendar year.
