Kristen “The Good Sherpa” Kimmel joined the Pine Cove staff in the fall of 2016. She graduated from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor in 2013 with a degree in Social Work. Kristen’s favorite thing about Camp in the City is partnering with the local church to encourage and empower their ministry, as well as serving alongside her awesome team of college students.
“Our kids look forward to Camp in the City every summer! They have fun, and grow in their walk with Christ! We love that the counselors are such amazing role models in faith and action for our children.”

At Pine Cove, we believe every child should have the opportunity to come to camp. That’s why we offer scholarships available through our partner churches. Contact First McKinney for information about applying for a scholarship.
