Food Options

Take Your Pick

Even picky eaters will be in food heaven at Pine Cove! We plan the menu for each meal with the age of our youth campers in mind, offering delicious food like beef tacos and honey butter chicken biscuits. Looking for healthy alternatives? All youth camps offer yogurt and oatmeal at breakfast, soup and an extensive salad bar (including tasty choices like hummus!) at lunch and dinner, and fruit at every meal.

“He loved all of the food (this says a lot because my son is a picky eater). But he loved the system you had of bringing everything to the table! Love it!”

Food Quantity

Full and Happy

No camper will go hungry while they’re at Pine Cove! Every day we serve delicious, kid-friendly food (and offer seconds), provide extra options at each meal, and offer a post-dinner snack every night. In addition, campers can visit the camp store to purchase a mid-day snack!

Healthy Options

Did you know? Each of our camps has a salad bar offering 20 items to choose from, including broccoli, carrots, sun-dried tomatoes, pepperoncinis, hummus, and multiple dressing options.

Food Allergies

Extra Precautions

Before each week of camp, the Director of Food Services in each of our regions receives a report detailing the names and requirements for every camper with a food allergy. Then our cooks take great care preparing meals for those with allergies in a separate section of the kitchen with clean utensils to prevent cross-contamination.
