Being Christ-centered means time with the Bible: hearing, reading, thinking, memorizing. Every camper spends time in the Bible every day of camp. (And, yes, there’s a cheer for that!) Our youngest campers do a Bible study as a cabin with their counselor as their guide. Our older campers do a group study AND spend personal time with the Bible—just them—with some guidance from their study booklet. The Bible study changes each year, but here are some sample studies to give you a taste.
Time to hit the trail! This hiking-themed study teaches campers more about important Biblical characters and how there is still a lot we can learn from them today.
Who IS Jesus? People have been asking this question about Jesus for centuries, and the answer makes all the difference. To dig into the answer, campers walk through the book of Colossians.
