Giving: Designated
Christian Summer Camp

Designated Giving

Was your child’s life changed at the Shores? Outback?
Did you have an unbelievable week as a family at the Bluffs or Crier Creek?

If you have experienced life-change and want to give specifically to the camp or ministry that impacted your life, please designate your gift to that ministry. We are so excited that either you or a loved one has experienced God in such a way that you would desire to become a part of that ministry through a financial gift. We are honored and thankful that you desire to come alongside us monetarily. Camper and retreat tuition covers only initial operating expenses, so all additions and improvements at Pine Cove are covered by gifts. We could not continue to minister if it were not for friends like you.

A few additional options for designated giving are listed below.

Family Camp Expansions

Chimney Point in South Carolina

As Pine Cove seeks to expand its ministry to include youth and families in the Southeast, we have secured 120 acres on Lake Hartwell, a popular destination lake, between Atlanta, Georgia and Charlotte, North Carolina. This property is located within 2 ½ hours of over 8 million people. It is the ideal location to bring family campers so they can unplug from the stresses of everyday life and experience God’s presence. Check out www.campiscoming.com for more details!

Crier Creek

Over the years at Pine Cove Crier Creek, we have witnessed countless children and parents who have not only come to know the Lord as their Savior, but have seen marriages saved and families strengthened. Sadly, not all families who want to come to Crier Creek are able to get in and there is a growing waiting list. The time has come to expand and update Crier Creek facilities for present and future families to include 12 additional cabins and a remodel of the Whitetail Lodge Dining Hall and camp store.

Bluffs

There are many families who want to attend family camp at the Bluffs, but there is a wait list. Expansion projects include building a new meeting space that will comfortably accommodate all of our family campers and four new cabins that will provide enough space for 44 families to attend summer camp. In addition to the four new cabins, the Bluffs expansion project will also include a redesign of existing cabins to better meet the needs of families as well as a much needed new office space for our ministry team.

Youth Camp Expansions

The Ridge

With the demand growing, the time is right to begin Phase 1 of Pine Cove’s newest High School camp in Columbus, Texas, called The Ridge. Pine Cove Outback currently serves 6th grade-12th grade campers and has 300+ kids on the waiting list. That means over 300 kids will not get the opportunity to experience Pine Cove this summer that wanted to come. Phase I enables us to keep up with the demand and be more intentional in serving high school and junior high campers separately for more effective ministry.

Camp in the City

Camp in the City is one of the fastest growing programs at Pine Cove. It is effective, efficient and self-sustaining with an investment which is significantly less than building a residential camp at one of our current properties. During Summer 2015, we had satellite day camp at 88 locations with the plan to expand that to 110 locations in 2016. The expectation is that we will have more than 16,000 campers at Camp in the City for the summer 2016. As a result, we need to invest in another team and replace some older items.

Forge Building

After a decade of training up leaders, over 200 alumni will soon be serving all over the world impacting corporations, ministries, the military, and oversees missions. The new campus will consist of three buildings: a male cabin, a female cabin, and a teaching facility. Each dorm will allow for 16 students and provide a kitchen, laundry facility, and community room. The teaching facility will also include Forge offices and a workout facility for the students. These buildings will accommodate future growth, provide a first-class learning environment, and give the students the desperately needed space to build community and do life together.
