For all physical camps, everyone comes to orientation, which is May 17 – 24. Some roles require training before that from May 12-16. First half is May 25 – June 28, and second half is June 28 – August 2.
For all day camps, those dates are shifted down by a week but end on the same date: August 2.
Pine Cove has physical camp properties in East Texas, Central Texas, South Carolina, and Georgia. In addition, we have a traveling camp program that sets up and runs day camp all across Texas and the southeast United States.
Short answer: Yes! Slightly longer answer: depending on your degree plan, many of our roles can be eligible for internship credit with your school. Check with your guidance counselor to see what you can make happen.

If you’re applying to be a college staffer you must have completed at least one year of college by the time you work. So you can apply in fall 2026 to work summer 2027. To be a High School Applicant you need to have completed high school by the time you work.
Yes, absolutely! Each week you will be off from Saturday afternoon to Sunday afternoon. In addition, you get one night off per half of the summer. Go get your coffee on.
