Matt began working at Pine Cove in 2002, serving as part of a discipleship program called Young Guns. For the next three summers, he returned to work on summer staff in various roles at the Shores camp. Matt met his beautiful wife, Katie, while on summer staff. They are now blessed with a beautiful daughter, Lily, and two boys, Asher and Coen. Matt served on Pine Cove staff full time 2008-2014, serving as a Conference Director at the Towers camp for four years before transitioning to his role at the Ranch as Camp Director. Matt is originally from East Texas, but has spent a lot of time in Nashville, Tennessee where he attended college at Belmont University. He is passionate about teaching and leading others into a better understanding of God’s Word and who they are in Christ.
