New 2021 Full-Time Camp Staff

Summer is right around the corner, so it’s time to introduce you to our new full-time staff members! Most of these staffers are new to the full-time Pine Cove team, but you may see some familiar faces in new roles below! Read more about what roles they’re stepping into and what they’re excited for this summer.

Chloe “Risk-It” Patterson: Longtime Chimney Point summer staffer Chloe “Risk It” Patterson has moved over to our East Texas region to become the Towers Women’s Director! She is from Tulsa, Oklahoma and graduated from Liberty University. Chloe is eager to welcome campers to the Towers this summer and shepherd our girls staff!

Claire “Apple Pie” Conradt: After serving the last few summers at the Towers, Claire “Apple-Pi” Conradt is joining the Towers team as an additional Women’s Director! Claire recently graduated from Baylor University in Waco, Texas and cannot wait to join the East Texas Pine Cove family and serve our 2nd-5th grade campers. Claire is thrilled to continue to invest in the Towers!

Caleb “SOS” Howard: Caleb “SOS” Howard is the new Men’s Director at the Timbers! He graduated from the University of Tennessee, Knoxville with a degree in Communication Studies. After spending five summers on staff at the Woods, Caleb is excited to make his transition to the Timbers to lead our summer staff and 8th-9th grade campers!

Derrick “Kenya Dig It” Simiyu: If you’ve spent any time around the Towers, you’re sure to recognize former Program Director Derrick “Kenya Dig It” Simiyu! This summer, he is moving just down the road to become the Activities Director of the Ranch camp! From skits and theme nights to activity classes and all things safety, Derrick is looking forward to creating a Christ-centered, others-focused, and seriously fun experience for campers and staff!

Kolby “Mr. Pie” Friday: After faithfully serving last summer at Silverado as the Senior Program Director, Kolby “Mr. Pie” Friday is stepping into his new role as the Silverado Men’s Director. He cannot wait to continue to lead his staff and walk alongside campers as they learn more about the Gospel!

Colby “Slay” Rice: Introducing the new Outback Men’s Director! Sugar Land native and Baylor University graduate, Colby “Slay” Rice is ready to help lead the charge at our 6th-8th grade camp in Central Texas! He is thrilled to plan theme nights, skits, and teach the Word to campers this summer.
