Inside the Cove | Staff Profile
by Isabel Garza
We’re excited to introduce the newest additions to our program staff serving across Pine Cove City, Crier Creek, Shores, Ranch, Timbers, and Springs Pro! Learn a little about their backgrounds, what brought them to Pine Cove, and what they’re looking forward to most this summer. And after reading, you may also discover that the unofficial camp store snack favorite is the legendary cookie sandwich + Gatorade combo.
Kayak Associate Site Director
Bryson “Mr President” Beard served on summer staff for four summers with City Team Delta from 2022–2025. He is originally from Anderson, South Carolina, and recently graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Parks, Recreation, and Tourism Management. Bryson is joining the full-time team as the Kayak Associate Site Director.
We’re excited to welcome Bryson to the team and can’t wait to see him jump into this role!
City Legacy Associate Site Director
Mary Marshall “Beans” Steele served on summer staff with City Kayak in 2024 and 2025. She is originally from Lancaster, South Carolina, and graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. Mary Marshall is joining the full-time team as the City Legacy Associate Site Director and is recently engaged to Lincoln Hargrove, with a wedding planned for September 5!
We’re thrilled to have Mary Marshall, and look forward to all she’ll bring to the team this summer!
Delta Site Director
Kinzer “Pops” Mactavish is pumped to be the Delta Site Director! He’s from Nashville, Tennessee, graduated from the University of Alabama in 2025 (roll tide), and graduated from Pine Cove’s Residency program, the Forge, this past April.
When asked what his favorite camp store snack is, Kinzer said, “It HAS to be the Cookie Sandwich–it’s simply too good. Two cookies… and ice cream? Are you kidding me?!”
He’s looking forward to stepping into this role with Pine Cove City, where we get to partner with local churches all across the Southeast. Kinzer can’t wait to see how the Lord uses camp as a gateway for kids and families to get plugged into a local church and experience the fullness of joy found in Christ. Kinzer invites you to pray for softened hearts for campers and all staff involved.
Crier Creek Women’s Director
Macy “Moose” Johnson spent her summers working at the Ranch, and she has been deeply impacted through the ministry that God is doing through Pine Cove. She and her husband, Ian, just got married in April! Ian will be working as the Food Service Coordinator for the Central Texas camps this summer, and they’re thrilled to finally get to do camp ministry together!
Her go-to camp store snack is a Diet Coke and any sour candy! She is most looking forward to connecting with people. From pouring into the summer staff girls to learning from the family camp moms, she’s excited to walk through life with others this summer. Macy is really excited to see the depth and meaning behind this ministry, and thankful that she gets to be a part of it this summer!
Shores Women's Director
Amour “Skip” Alier is joining the Shores team as the Women’s Director. She’s from Dallas, Texas, and is a proud Razorback! Amour loves coffee, especially a Chi Chi Rodriguez in the summer! Her favorite camp store snack is an ice cream sandwich and a gatorade!
She is most looking forward to getting to pour into the lives of college students and exclaim the truth of Jesus with them all summer long.
Ranch Women's Director
Amber “The Wok” Holdridge grew up in Fort Worth, Texas, and graduated from Texas Tech University in 2025, where she majored in Advertising with a minor in Communications. She is a dog mom to a two-year-old golden retriever, Hudson! Her go-to camp store snack is a nice cold Diet Coke.
Amber is most looking forward to witnessing the life transformation that happens in both our staffers and campers. She recently graduated from the Forge, Pine Cove’s leadership development program. She’s excited to continue serving at Pine Cove, a ministry that God continues to use to impact not only her own life, but the lives of so many others.
Timbers Women's Director
Andre “So I Throw Up My Beans” Perron is the new Timbers Women’s Director. Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana, Andre’s favorite camp store snack is Dibs (or a cookie sandwich) and a Diet Coke! Fun fact: Andre’s first summer on staff, she was a wrangler!
She just wrapped up a year in the Forge, where she learned about faith, worth, and following. ”The Lord has used Pine Cove to transform my life, from when I was a camper at the Towers all the way to this past year at the Forge.” She’s excited to be a part of Pine Cove in a different capacity this summer, and grateful for the ways the Lord uses this ministry for His purposes and His glory.
Ranch Men's Director
Graham was born and raised in South Carolina, and this is his first year in Texas. He graduated from Clemson University with a degree in Business Management, and is a huge Clemson Tigers fan.
He served on summer staff for three summers at the Springs and completed the Forge, Pine Cove’s leadership development program, and is now joining the Ranch team as the Men’s Director!
When asked about his favorite camp store snack, Graham said, “A cookie sandwich paired with a purple Gatorade just hits different! If I ever needed a mid-day pick-me-up, I knew I could always count on this combo!”
Graham is most excited about the opportunity to walk alongside college students and encourage them to be who God made them to be. He can’t wait to see how God transforms their heart as they serve this summer. This past year has held a lot of change–including the adoption of his (new) little brother, getting engaged, and now beginning this role at the Ranch. Graham is expectant and pumped to see what God has in store this summer!
Springs Pro Women's Director
Madi “Scoops” Krieg served on summer staff at Springs in 2023 and 2024 before returning to serve at Springs/Springs Pro in 2025. She is originally from Austin, Texas, and graduated from University of Tennessee with a degree in Accounting. Madi is joining the full-time team as the Springs Pro Women’s Director.
We’re so excited Madi is stepping into this role and expectant to see all God will do through her at Springs Pro!
We’re grateful for each of these new program staff members and the unique ways God has shaped their stories to bring them to Pine Cove. As they step into a summer full of new opportunities, we’re expectant for how God will use them across every camp and in the lives of summer staffers. Be sure to say hello when you see them around—and join us in praying that this summer would be marked by joy, growth, and Christ-centered life change.
