Camp Culture | Inside the Cove
Picture this… you’re at Pine Cove, and you wake up in your bunk bed knowing you have an entire day of excitement ahead of you: incredible activities, hilarious skits, and unforgettable theme nights. And it all starts at Flag. Each youth camp kicks off its day at “Flag,” a time to raise the stars and stripes, greet the day, and praise the Lord. Also in the mix? A whole heap of spontaneous, random fun—the crazier the better.
You truly never know what you can expect from your fellow campers and counselors at Flag. We’ve seen over-the-top costumes, never-before-heard chants, and even off-the-wall activities—everything from campers “rowing” in on mid-air canoes to staffers grilling hot dogs (yes, at 8:00 in the morning!).
