We’re talking high-flying, joy-filled, spirit-packed adventures that make camp unforgettable. While we know each and every camper probably has their own list of things to check off during their time at camp, we thought we would share a few of our favorite suggestions that made the top of our list. Let’s dive in (literally).

1. Get Blobbed

No Pine Cove bucket list is complete without taking flight off the blob! It’s that giant inflatable in the lake or pool where one brave camper climbs on, another fearless friend jumps from off the dock, and BOOM! Suddenly, you’re being launched into the air like a rocket (or a graceful bird, if you’re lucky). It’s part thrill ride, part goofy adventure, and 100% serious fun!

2. Eat Dibs from the Camp Store

Sweet camp days often come with a side of ice cream, and more specifically, those delightful little bites of frozen chocolate-covered joy known as Dibs. After a long day of activity classes, encouraging hang times, and cannonballs into the pool, there’s nothing like grabbing a snack from the camp store and cooling down Pine Cove-style. Our secret tip? Pair those Dibs with a nice cold Dr Pepper!

3. Lead a Camp Cheer

You haven’t truly lived the Pine Cove life until you’ve stood up, waved your arms, and shouted a camp cheer with every ounce of energy in your body! Whether you’re leading a verse of “Boom Chicka Boom” or firing up your cabin with your own original chant in hopes of winning that ever-legendary spirit stick, this one’s all about camp hype.

4. Win the Spirit Stick

It’s colorful. It’s legendary. It’s most definitely chaotic. It’s the Spirit Stick! Awarded each day of camp to the cabin that shows the most energy, teamwork, and Pine Cove-style mayhem, this beauty is the crown jewel of camp competition. Win it with your cabinmates, and you might just go down in camp history.

5. Recite All of Your Memory Verses

Yes, camp is full of fun and games, but it’s also about growing deeper in your faith. One of the best parts? Hiding God’s Word in your heart! Nail all your memory verses, and you’re not just winning at camp. You’re equipping yourself with truth that lasts way beyond your week here. Plus, if your whole cabin does it, your counselor will be in for a fun end-of-week surprise!

6. Do the Monkey… TWICE in a Row 

We know, it’s wild. It’s intense. It’s exhausting. But doing the Monkey twice in a row is a challenge we’re up for! The music’s pumping, the lights are flashing, and you’re jumping around shaking the floor of camp. Will you be out of breath? Yes. Will your legs feel like jelly? Also yes. But will it be worth it? 1000% yes. Bonus points if you get your whole cabin to do it with you!

7. Win Pit ‘N’ Palace with Your Cabin

This one’s for the creatives and those who love to keep tidy! Pit ‘N’ Palace is where you take your cabin from basic bunkhouse to themed masterpiece, all while keeping it spotless while you’re at it. Whether you go tropical, medieval, or full-blown space mission, the judges are watching (and sniffing).

8. Watch a Totally Crazy Skit

You haven’t really been to camp until you’ve witnessed a skit that makes you laugh so hard you cry. Or question if they’re the good guy or the bad guy for days. Or both. Whether it’s a cowboy who failed out of culinary school, a dramatic chase scene in slow motion, or an epic lip-sync battle… you’ll be quoting your favorite skit characters (and their catchphrases) all week long.

9. Have a Hang Time with Your Counselor

The dance parties are awesome, the games are wild, but hang times? That’s where the real impact happens. It’s a chance to slow down, grab a snack, and talk about God with someone who truly cares. Ask questions about the Lord, share your heart and faith, or even laugh about how good (or bad) your belly flop into the pool was! It’s the deep, meaningful part of camp you’ll never forget.

10. Hang Out with Your Whole Cabin at Camper’s Choice

Whether you’re blobbing, crafting, snack-eating, or playing the most competitive 9-Square game of your life, getting to hang out with your entire cabin during Camper’s Choice is the best. It’s your time to bond, try something new together, and make a few more memories before the week flies by.

Do you know what’s really special about Pine Cove? The camp magic, memories, and life change doesn’t just stay at camp!
