Just because camp isn’t in session doesn’t mean you can’t take time to rest. We all deserve some time to relax and take a breather. Parents, raising kids is hard! You deserve a few moments of peace and quiet. If you’re not sure what those two words mean, then you’re in the right place because we’re about to teach you how to FOB.

Flat on back (FOB) can be taken literally, or figuratively. At camp, it’s a time for campers to hang out silently in their cabins (preferably in their bunks). Who says FOBs can only happen at camp, though?

There are many ways to spend an FOB. Here’s a few of our Pine Cove-recommended FOB activities:

  • Put your feet up
  • Write a few encouragement notes
  • Journal
  • Have a snack
  • Catch up on Bible reading
  • Dream about camp

It’s as simple as that.

If you’ve never been to camp or had the opportunity for an FOB, take a moment to enjoy the rest! Why should kids have all the fun (or sleep!)?
