New 2024 Program Staffers

Enjoy meeting two (let’s count ‘em!) of our new friends that will be leading at camp this summer! Get to know Anna and Lane as they let us in on what they’re most excited for this summer and some of their favorite things!

Ladies first! Introducing the Spring’s new Administrative Director… Anna “Sike Baller” Brecht! Anna grew up in South Dakota before attending University of Wisconsin-Green Bay. She played basketball there for three years, then transferred to the University of Sioux Falls for a final two years with her favorite sport. While in her last year of college, she heard about Pine Cove and made her way to the Outback for her first summer on staff! It didn’t take long for her to fall in love with the ministry, and soon enough she applied to spend nine months going through the Forge. She loves ministering to college girls, and is excited to hit the ground running this summer as she hopes to cultivate a culture of knowing Christ deeper. You can find Sike around camp playing Spikeball, Pickleball, or trying to make her favorite coffee drink: an iced oat milk latte with just a little vanilla. We’re so glad you’re here, Anna!

The newest addition to our East Texas team? The soon-to-be married Lane “I’m Married To Taco Bell” Bloomer! As you can tell from his camp name, the new Shores Men’s Director shore does love Taco Bell… but not as much as he loves his soon-to-be wife Lainey! Lane attended Abilene Christian University where he studied Biblical Studies and Christian Ministry (helllooo Christ-centered fun!). But before that, he was quite the traveler—growing up in China, Georgia, Alabama, and most beautiful of them all, Lubbock, Texas! When it comes to this summer, Lane is most excited to learn from the Shores full-time team, knowing that they each have so much love and wisdom to share. We couldn’t agree more, Taco Bell!
