Football season is in full swing, which means tailgates are happening! If there are two (let’s count ‘em!) things we love at Pine Cove, it’s food and fellowship. Another factor that makes tailgates seriously fun? The games! From corn hole and washers to just throwing a football around, tailgates have it all. We can’t say no to some friendly competition, so we went ahead and asked our staff what they think is the best tailgate game!
You really can’t beat giant Jenga at an event like a tailgate. It’s fun to play, and it’s definitely fun to watch—especially when the entire structure topples over! Absolute chef’s kiss. – Valerie “Ouch Potato” Morby, Social Media and Copy Manager
My favorite tailgate game is most definitely corn hole! Specifically the version where you can bust! – Faith “Flora” Courville, Risk and Safety Coordinator
Rally Hoops! It’s a combination of basketball, volleyball, and cornhole. – JD “Rambus” Moore, Ranch Camp Director
I am always a fan of a good game of bean bag toss! – Sharmaine “Screams” Burton, City Team Highland Site Director
Ever heard of paddle smash? It’s kind of a mix of spikeball and pickleball! SO fun! – Remedy “Bo-v” Applegate, Ranch Women’s Director
To me tailgates are all about the FOOD! Good food and good conversation = great tailgate! – Rob “Change Up” Harris, Director of Accounting
My favorite thing to do at tailgates is throw a baseball around with my friend Hayden “Mr. Polar Behr” Weaver or play Subsoccer 3 (check it out!). – Parker “Boomer” Shinsky, Communications Project Coordinator
