Our favorite thing about Thanksgiving is the time we get with family and friends to pause and express our gratitude for the many blessings God has showered on our lives. But we also love the tradition of enjoying lots of delicious Thanksgiving food together! We asked our full-time staffers to tell us about their all-time favorite Thanksgiving dishes. Check out what seriously fun foods they love, from green bean casserole to no-bake oatmeal cookies!

Honey roasted ham all the way. – Colton “Apacheezin” Crow, Associate Director of Retail

My favorite Thanksgiving dish has to be hashbrown casserole! I don’t have a recipe because my grandmother has always made it for us. – Kylie “Bonsho” Witcher, Silverado Women’s Director

My favorite Thanksgiving dish is Cranberry Apple Crumble. One of my college friends used to make it for our Friendsgiving and it was a hit! I’ve since shared it with my mom and we added it to our Thanksgiving dinner! – Annelise “Smilin” Morrison, Silverado Associate Director

My momma’s green bean casserole! – Kat “Chief” McDaniel, Executive Assistant to the ETX Leadership

So not really a dish but my favorite thing is my leftover Thanksgiving sandwich! Toast some bread, slather some mustard, put on some leftover turkey, and a scoop of leftover mashed potatoes, and that’s it! – Rob “Change Up” Harris, Director of Accounting

My favorite Thanksgiving dish, unsure if it is traditional, but every year, my cousins, mom, aunt, and grandma would make “Nanny Cookies” which are just no bake oatmeal cookies!Mattie “Blast” Stewart, Registrar
