Summer 2022 Family Camp Devotional Preview

Drumroll please… our theme for this summer is ONE.

This theme is based on Romans 15:5-6, which reads: “May the God of endurance and encouragement grant you to live in such harmony with one another, in accord with Christ Jesus, that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.”

Possibly more than ever in recent history, our country and our churches are divided by…
• How you vote (politics)
• How you worship (denominations)
• How you look (ethnicity)
• What you make or own (status)
• How you were raised (culture)
• What is ultimately important (values)

Even though Jesus prayed for all believers to be “one” (John 17:20), we seem to be missing out on what is supposed to unite us. We need a united Church in these divided days!

During the week, we will look at five essential truths regarding God’s plan for unity:
• One Faith
• One Focus
• One Fight
• One Family
• One Finale

We’re so excited about what God is going to accomplish in the lives of your families. We are praying that your faith will be stretched, that your marriage will be strengthened, and that parents and children will develop heart-level relationships that will build up their family for the glory of God.
