The Fourth of July at Camp

Week 6 was filled with patriotic fun all week long! Campers and staffers embraced the holiday spirit with red, white, and blue woven throughout the week—from festive theme nights and America-inspired skits to patriotic decorations around camp. Whether campers were spending the day at the pool, tackling the ropes course, playing games with friends, or enjoying fireworks, the Fourth of July brought an extra layer of excitement to an already unforgettable week at camp.

While we love celebrating our country’s birthday, we’re especially grateful for the opportunity to point campers to the freedom we have in Christ. Every summer, campers hear the hope of the Gospel, grow in their faith, and build friendships that continue long after they leave camp.

We’re thankful for another week of celebrating, serving, and watching God work in the lives of campers and staffers. As we head into the second half of the summer, we’re excited to welcome campers each week and expectant to see all that God has in store in the weeks ahead. Happy Fourth of July from all of us at Pine Cove!
