The Springs’ Summer Debut

As we reflect on this past summer, we are so grateful for all of your support, encouragement, and prayer that went into launching the Springs — a brand-new youth camp in a brand-new location! We cannot wait to share with you just some of the many ways we saw God show up at the Springs, so let’s get started! Check out what these campers and parents had to say:

“Our daughter came back from camp with such a glow on her! I could really see the Lord radiating through her, but more than that, just listening to her stories and her heart really spoke volumes about how much she grew in the Lord at camp! Specifically she told us that for the first time she actually viewed God as a best friend who loves her unconditionally, she also told us that she had never felt so loved by the Lord before then she felt while she was at camp.” – Springs Parent

“I’ve been Christian for a long time, but before camp I didn’t really care about reading Scripture. This week made me realize how much more God has for my life. So much was revealed to me through the Bible and His Word.” – Springs Camper

“Being in the Word every day and also having the example of his counselor to model what it looks like to daily walk with Christ was an encouragement to our son and I think will be something that continues to encourage him throughout this coming school year.” – Springs Parent

“God really blessed me this week. I feel like I was just going through the motions before and just going to church because I had to. I feel like now I have really connected with God and I am a lot stronger in my faith. My counselor really helped me understand why it’s so important to connect with God.” – Springs Camper

“I’m gonna be honest with y’all: before this week I didn’t think God was important, I didn’t go to church—I thought He was below me, basically. But I came here and I met all these amazing people, my amazing counselor, and all these people helped me believe in Jesus more. These last few months have been hard. But after this week, I am going home a new man, with a new face, believing in God.” – Springs Camper

“Our son came home with an increased desire to read his Bible. He also wanted to share the salvation story with his younger brother!” – Springs Parent

“Being at Pine Cove has really impacted my life. Knowing that God is always with us and that it’s not just here, but everywhere that we can praise Him. I never realized how amazing it is that Jesus died on the cross for our sins.” – Springs Camper

“Oh my goodness, the change in her is priceless. Truly no price could be placed on it. Only God’s power at work could accomplish this, and you guys are the tool. I cannot begin to adequately express how thankful we are.” – Springs Parent
